Rev. Dr. Samuel Odubena

The Rev. Dr. Samuel Ayotola Odubena is unapologetically a follower of Christ, who believes that the Bible is the Word of God. He was ordained in the Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion in 1996 and rose through the hierarchy to the position of a Venerable Archdeacon (District Superintendent). Samuel graduated from Asbury Theological Seminary where he bagged a Ph.D. (Intercultural Studies) degree in May 2020. Dr. Odubena has served in various pastoral and managerial capacities within the Body of Christ. He is a leader par excellence. Rev. Samuel is known for his deep commitment to prayer, discipleship, youth ministry, church revitalization, and mission. He views people and situations with optimism. Samuel believes that everyone who is a member of the Christian community is called to be a player in the mission of Christ. This commitment continues to stir up faith in his congregation and endear the unchurched people to Christ. Samuel loves playing pickleball and watching Family Feud. He is married to Christianah, and they are blessed with three graceful children. They live in Peru, Indiana
